I am currently in college, majoring in graphic design. Here is some of the work I have done in some of the classes I took. For this project, we were supposed to create a map for a city we were assigned to. I was assigned Shanghai. In the map we were to add some popular areas and that is what I did. This project didn't take too long, it was fun to be able to add more visual things and use our own art styles. For my graphic design class we had to make an ad for a toilet brush. The purpose of this assignment was for practicing skills as a graphic designer. My professor told us we are suppose to be able to turn something boring into something interesting! It is important as a graphic designer to be able to grab people's attention. This is a branding guide for my toilet brush ad. My professor explained how to do one for ads, logos, etc. I never knew about this "branding guide" but now I know it is important. This was for my 3d art class. I made the cactus inside by sewing them with felt fabric and string. Then I cut a box in the center and put a plastic there with a hot glue gun. I was trying to make it look as if you were trying to buy a toy. I used acrylic paint for the box. This project took about a week to finish maybe two weeks. This was for my 3d art class. The assignment was to use a shoe and make it into something else. I bought a shoe pair from Goodwill and started cutting into it. I used air-dried clay for the teeth, tongue, eyes, and horns. I glued the things with a hot glue gun. I sprayed painted the shoe with red and then hand-painted the teeth and eyes with white acrylic paint. I did the same thing for the other pair of shoe. This project was very fun. I made these in my ceramics class. I made more items but didn't take many pictures. These were fired in the kiln but it was the last day of class so we couldn't glaze them. I took them home and ended up painting them with acrylic paint and then sealing them with a fixative spray to keep them in place. I had never done ceramics before so at first it was kind of difficult but over all, it was fun to try a different type of art. This is a picture I took when I was in ceramics class. It was still wet and not fired yet. When they were fired I took it home and painted them. Here is a picture of me using the wheel in ceramics class. At the beginning of the spring semester, it was kind of stressful to use the wheel. But eventually, I got the hang out of it and actually enjoyed using it. I drew this in my drawing class. I used charcoal sticks and charcoal pencils for this. This was in my drawing class. We drew this while looking at live objects. We all sat in different places so we had to draw how we saw it from our angle. I used a pastel pencil and a white pastel stick for this. This was one of my first assignments that was on huge paper. This was for my drawing class. We had to find a hand model, so I chose to use a family member for this. I drew these hands using graphite pencils. This was one that was really hard for me because drawing hands is difficult most times. I was very proud of the result. This was in my drawing class. The teacher gave us a paper of an old drawing from old ages and we had to redraw it. I used graphite pencils for this. Fake Logo for an orange juice brand. I did this in my graphic design class Mockup for fake brand logo design. In my graphic design class, we were able to use a free mockup for us to add our logos. Fake logo for a strawberry brand Mockup for fake brand. I did the logo and added it in a free mockup, this was for my graphic design class. This was just for fun For this assignment, we were to remake a business card/ flyer of someone's business. I chose to redo my cousin's business. This is what I came up with.
